Week 7 has all 4 football teams hunting for another win.
Freshman travel to Schenectady on Wednesday, 4 pm. JV challenge Shaker on Thursday, 6 pm at Shaker. Modifiedare home on Saturday at 9 am.
Varsity will host Shaker on Friday night for the final game regular season game of 2009.
Friday night, 10-16 is Senior night.
Senior football players will be honored before the game.
Help is needed in the concession stand and with sportswear on Friday night.

Week 6 is Homecoming Week at Columbia! Join the exciting activities at Columbia.
Freshman meet the Burnt Hills Freshman at home on Wednesday, 6:30 pm. Help is needed in the concession stand from JV and Varsity Parents.
Modified is away at Lisha Kill, (South Colonie) on Friday, 4 pm.
Varsity team meal, Thursday, 5 pm.
Varsity faces Schenectady on Friday night in the homecoming game. Help is needed in the concession stand and with sportswear from JV , Freshman and Modified Parents. This is the busiest night of the year, and normally the booster club earns a lot of money to support our programs on this night.
JV has their second team meal on Friday Night, at 6 pm, they will play in Schenectady on Saturday at 10 am.
So far this year there has been a ton of support and help from the football families at all levels, and the impact of this help is felt thought the program. Thank you for stepping up and making Columbia Football a successful program!
Varsity falls to LaSalle 28-0
Columbia JV improved their record to 4-1 by beating LaSalle 21-13.
Columbia Freshmen improved their record to 3-0 with an impressive victory over Queensbury, 39-8.
Columbia Modified Football scored another big victory against Sand Creek 49-6, then in their second game of the week, Modified held tough beating Saratoga 12-8 bringing their record to 3-0.
Columbia football rolls into week 5. Modified opens the week, with a 4 pm game at Colonie’s Sand Creek MS. Freshmen play on Wednesday at 4 pm in Queensbury. JV travels to LaSalle on October 1 for a 4 pm game. Varsity returns home on Friday night to face LaSalle. JV team meal at concession, before varsity game.
Columbia welcomes East Greenbush Pop Warner on Friday night. Pop Warner players in uniform receive free admission. Cheerleaders will cheer with the Varsity, and half time will feature a Flag game.
East Greenbush Teacher of the Year, Lisa Westman will be honored as part of the annual Teacher Appreciation Celebration. Ms. Westman will be an honorary captain for the coin toss.

Varsity travels to Colonie on Friday night to face the Garnet Raiders in a league game kicking off at 7 pm. Fans are needed to cheer the Blue Devils on, and enjoy a friendly riverly against the other COL under the Friday Night Lights.
JV hosts Colonie on Saturday at Budnowski Field at 10 AM.

JV hunt their second win on Thursday, September 17 at 4 pm. Freshman and Modified parents are needed to help in Concession.
Varsity travels to Bethlehem on Thursday, 9/17 for a televised 7 pm game.
