Columbia Football rolling into week 4 with a busy schedule

Monday, September 20, Modified Football Scrimmage @ Guilderland, 4:15

Monday, September 20, Varsity Football – EGPW Annual Training 6:30 with players on the field at 6:15

Wednesday, September 22, Freshman Football host Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartens at home 6:00.

Thursday, September 23, Varsity Team Meal

Friday, September 24, JV team meal, 5:15 @ the concession stand

Friday, September 24, Varsity Football Hosts Troy, with Kickoff at 7 pm

Friday, September 24, East Greenbush Pop Warner Night, all players and cheerleaders in uniform get in for free.  Half time flag show, cheerleaders cheer with the varsity.

Friday, September 24, Teacher Appreciation, All EGTA members are invited to the game, with the Teacher of the Year being the honorary captain.  Teachers receive free coffee at the concession stand.

Saturday, September 25, JV travels to Troy for a 10 am game.

Saturday, September 25, Modified hosts Sand Creek in their 10 am home opener.

Top Form Donates 3-month Membership to Columbia Football

Again, this year, Ron Annis, President of Top Form, Inc; and our athletic trainer at Columbia, has donated to Columbia Football a 3 month membership to Top Form, valued at $450!

Columbia Football will be raffling off this membership.  The winner will be picked at the Football Banquet on Friday, November 5.

Tickets are $2 each, 3 for $5.  It would be great if each Columbia Football family would take at least 3 tickets for $5.

Top Form, Inc, located in Schodack,  is the premier training facility in the area.  Ron Annis is a internationally recognized trainer who works with athletes and athletes to be.  He is a huge supporter of Columbia Athletics and in particular Columbia Football.

Thank you Ron for the impressive donation!.

Tickets will be on sale at the concession stand during the Football Season,  at the banquet and from any of the booster club officers.

400+ attend Columbia Football Kick-Off BBQ

Great Kick-Off BBQ for Columbia Football!  Over 400 Players, Coaches and Family Members tailgated to celebrate the end of double sessions, and kick off the season.  The weather was beautiful, and the food and company was great.  Thanks to all the people who manned the grills and tables, and thanks for all the great food, and definitely way too many desserts!

Columbia Football BBQ 8-27-10

Columbia Football will be holding their annual  Kickoff BBQ, Friday, August 27, 2010, 6PM.  We will be tailgating at Budnowski Field.  The Football Booster Club will be providing the burgers, hotdogs, roll, condiments and paper products.  Senior Players should bring salads, Junior players should bring drinks, Sophomore players should bring desserts and Freshmen should bring chips. Everyone should bring chairs.

Families should plan on arriving between 5:30-5:45, to help set up the food, early help is needed at 4:30 for cooking and set up.  Players will come directly from practice.

The Annual Football Kickoff BBQ celebrates the end of double sessions, and kicks off the football season. All players are expected to attend, and invite their whole family to the celebration.

CHS Football and CDPW Challengers

CHS FB & Challengers 2009The CHS Football Program had a great afternoon with the CDPW Challengers today, playing a flag football game at “Romer Field.” The following football players helped to make this day a very special experience for everyone involved:
