Week 4 is in the books. Varsity fell to the state ranked Troy High Team. JV inproved their record, beating Troy JV 21-7, Freshmen beat a very good Burnt Hills team, 38-35 and Modified won their first home opener 36-6.

Jean Decker, EGTA teacher of the year was honored at the Varsity game, and the EGPW cheerleaders and Flag Football Players were the highlight of the night. The stands were packed for the game.

Thank you to Columbia Football families for making Week 4 a success! From the CHS-EGPW clinic, to the team meals for Varsity and JV, to the support in the concession stand for 4 events in one week, to the chain gang, announcers, sellers of football items and of course attending the games, the EG community is behind the players and the coaches and keeps the team strong.

Professional photos from Friday are available at http://www.cdsportspix.com/Columbia-High-2010-2011-Sports/Football Dan Jackson comes out to our game, and takes lots of great pictures. Check it out.
