Jean Decker, EGTA teacher of the year was honored at the Varsity game, and the EGPW cheerleaders and Flag Football Players were the highlight of the night. The stands were packed for the game.
Thank you to Columbia Football families for making Week 4 a success! From the CHS-EGPW clinic, to the team meals for Varsity and JV, to the support in the concession stand for 4 events in one week, to the chain gang, announcers, sellers of football items and of course attending the games, the EG community is behind the players and the coaches and keeps the team strong.

Week 3 closes with Varsity falling to Colonie 21-14, JV beating Colonie 18-6, and Freshmen posting their first win over Ballston Spa, 13-12.
Week 2 was a tough week for Columbia Football. Varsity lost a hard fought battle to Nisky in overtime. Both teams played a great game, but in the end the Silver Warriers prevailed. JV lost to the Nisky JV in another tight game, and Freshman lost earlier in the week to Guilderland freshman. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported the players, the turn out was great at the Varsity home game. We will work just that little bit harder in week 3 to grab the wins.
